The John Lennon Cap is beautifully made, perfectly fitted, and has a reassuring comfort to it. For those of us who are of a certain vintage, the cap is like nothing so much as coming back home. It has been a long time and a lengthy journey, and nothing since then has been half so good as where we began. Thank you, Helen.

I've long been a Beatles fan and particularly a fan of John Lennon. For years I'd considered buying a Greek fisherman's cap, which is how I'd seen described the famous hat that John wore, particularly in the mid-60s, but none of the generic ones ever looked quite right to me.

A couple of months ago I stumbled onto Helen's site and was fascinated to read how she designed the cap specially for John, and that she went to art college with John and Cynthia, and that she now makes replicas of the original cap to order. In my haste to get this great hat, I measured my head size too large and the cap that came didn't fit me. However, I was able to give it to my dad (who first turned me on to the Beatles, and who loves his cap!) and order another cap with the correct measurement. I am delighted that the new cap fits great and looks fantastic! I highly recommend this product. It's made of high quality nappa leather and is very comfortable to wear. It is made with care and love by Helen, and it is a lovely memento to the late great John Lennon.

I received my John Lennon Cap today and I am still shocked by just how great it is! It came in a beautiful box with a lovely note from Helen (what a sweet lady!). As soon as I took it out of the box, I knew I was truly looking at what I had been looking for my whole life. Then, I tried it on and it was a PERFECT fit (I have NEVER had a hat or cap fit me like this in my life!). It is fabulously made and after years of having what I thought were really good John caps, I now have the REAL DEAL! If you want what John wore for all those years, buy from Helen! I got my one for my mom with my sister in june for her birthday and she was estatic from joy when she saw it she says its very comfortable and good quality would recommend for any beatles fan in your family

My wife Dot purchased my John Lennon cap for me on the 60th Anniversary of the Beatles arriving in the USA. I had fancied the leather cap for a long time. It was my wife's birthday present to me. John wore this now famous leather cap as he stepped of the plane at Kennedy Airport on the 7th February 1964. I am looking forward to some warmer weather when I can wear the cap whilst driving my sports car. It is amazing that Helen who originally designed John's cap still manufactures the cap today. I was most fortunate to meet Helen-a wonderful lady. By the way the leather cap is fantastic and wonderful quality.

What a remarkably well made hat!

From when I was in my teens. In the seventy’s I always. Liked. John Lennon cap but sum how never got round to getting one up until now when it came I put it on straight away. And it fitted just great. Also how good quality the cap is and feels very comfortable on your head I wear my cap like John did well worth the money . Liked the post card what came with it all very nice . I recommend this cap to any true Lennon. Fans .

I have received my beautiful, perfectly fitting, cap and I will wear it always. The packaging is wonderful too, and the service was top notch.

For a Beatles, Lennon and a hat man, I am very happy, and only sorry about that I didn't know of it sooner.

First things first: ok, it's pricey. But the cap itself is a lovely thing, supple, soft, luxuriously comfortable. It really is something special.

But even better than that are Helen and her daughter, Danielle. In my case I got the sizes mixed up. Lo and behold, when the cap arrived, Helen had noticed the discrepancy, and made the necessary adjustment. And explained it all in a charming, handwritten note inside the box. You'll go some distance these days to get personal attention like that. I am very grateful to her.

Danielle is on hand (even at 33,000 feet) to keep you informed, and deal with queries, quickly and personably.

Cap arrived within a couple of days as promised. I can't fault that kind of quality and service. Brilliant.

I was hopping to have a great hat, but I measured me head and it was right at the Large limit, well, I ordered the large and it just IS TOO BIG. I tried to contact the maker via email, to begin the process of return (I am afraid to just send it back now as it may just get lost) I sent at least 3 emails about the need to have a smaller one yet I get NO REPLY. I don't think she cares much about customer satisfaction... so buyer, beware! Otherwise, its a great historical unique hat, I just wish I could wear it!

I bought this hat for my daughter for her 17th birthday as she is a huge John Lennon fan! It was absolutely perfect!! Amazing quality and it looks amazing on her. I just received my cap about fifteen minutes ago. When I saw the package at my door I was so excited. I immediately opened the box and from the packaging to the hat itself it is perfect. I love it so much and it fits me perfectly! I bought this as a birthday present to myself and from the communication to delivery it was such a smooth process. The Beatles and their wonderful music have been a part of my life from Love Me Do's release when I had just become a teenager. I have always wanted one of these caps and when I saw the advert at Strawberry Field on a visit to Liverpool last month, I could not resist.

I saw either an ad or a link on Facebook for the Helen Anderson original John Lennon leather cap, and I was intrigued. I’ve been a Beatle fan since the mid-70s; they taught me how to play guitar, in a manner of speaking. What a tremendous keepsake this would be to go along with the Rickenbacker guitars, the deluxe CD remix sets, etc. It took about a month for me to receive my cap, and I was impressed. The fit was a bit stiff at first, but it’s gotten more comfortable as I’ve broken it in. It fits snugly on my head, and I’m pretty sure it won’t blow off in heavy winds (but I don’t want to tempt fate!). Congratulations to Helen and company for a fine product!

I have a Helen Anderson original John Lennon cap of my own, which I cherish, and I wanted to give my friend Scott McKinley, who is working on a HUGE Lennon project with me, an Anderson-made Lennon cap as well. We both cherish our hand-made, one-of-a-kind, custom caps exactly like the one John wore and loved. Helen was John's closest mate at Liverpool College of Art and his friend of his for life. Wearing a work of art that she created and that John adored makes me happy. Scott was so elated with his! Thank you to Helen for making each cap with love. They are a must-have for any Beatles fan!

I got this cap 5 years ago, I never did a review but I'm telling you the story of my cap now and how wonderful it's been for me.

There was a special costume of John I couldn't get until the year 2018 (November 2018). I was searching on internet as usual trying to get that "leather cap" and suddenly it popped up in front of my eyes an ad saying "John Lennon leather cap" by Helen Anderson!

OMG! I had been searching for this cap my whole life and now I found the original Lennon leather cap designed by Helen Anderson a close friend of John since art school days! So I went straight to her web site and ordered one for me.

I am completely grateful I have found her, and met her in 2019, she's so lovely, a perfectionist, fascinating person, generous and a Great artist!

If you are a Beatle fan, John Lennon admirer you must have one because is not only an incredible leather cap to wear made with the best products but is a unique collectors item that you must keep forever as John did.

I highly recommend it!
